And while he notes the boots, he really doesn't care; he knows why Jae-ha isn't removing them from what they've spoken of before and the tapestries, and he has no particular interest in prying.
So he will fall silent, and peace will settle on the room.]
[Jae-ha sleeps, and he doesn't dream - and for that, he's grateful.
He doesn't sleep long, because he's hungry, and because the notion of snoozing for as long as he wants while Sousei feels obligated to keep guard of him doesn't sit well with him. So after a few hours, he blinks his eyes open and... doesn't want to face the day.
It feels all the clearer now - he's waking up in a world without his Captain. Without his companions. With just barely a leg to stand on.
Jae-ha seems to laugh faintly at that - though there's a certain note of tiredness in the noise. There's a moment where the exhaustion shows on his face, in more than just the bags underneath his eyes, and then he seems to shake his head as if to bat it away.]
... it has been, but we're not in a position where we're comfortable enough to sleep to our heart's content just yet.
[He can't really blame Jae-ha for that. He was much the same, after all. No time to really rest--there is too much to be done, and too much to process.
Too much tragedy already.]
Naturally it does not matter to me. So long as you consider yourself rested enough, it is fine.

.... well, he's not removing his boots, so he's just making sure that where he sleeps has his feet hanging over the bed end, to be polite.]

[He'll accept that!

But regardless, he moves to stand, yawning.]
Good morning, beautiful.... ♥
[He can at least make play at being alright.]

[T...thanks, Sousei.
This is clearly how he's going to deal with Jae-ha being a Big Useless Gay. He's just responding with exactly what Jae-ha asked of him before.
Nice.]

At least have a more fun reaction.

[Frankly. Anyway--]
You woke earlier than I expected.

[he's going to try harder
but also give him a second, he's also going to find a mirror and make sure that his hair looks nice]
And did you think that I'd pass out entirely?

[NOPE.]
And I was not sure what to expect, precisely, but you cannot deny that it has been an incredibly trying week.
