My guess makes more sense that your argument that a rose will suddenly be enough to cure his anxiety and nervousness about being locked into a killing game.
[Which helps inform the rest of his guess? He seems to hum for a moment.]
Let's walk backwards - you have a rose for Zelos, even if you haven't given it to him yet. You asked me if I got roses for Sousei because the castle wanted me to, instead of it being my own feelings.
So... you want to give the rose to Zelos, which can be seen as a romantic gesture, and you're not sure whether or not that's part of the castle's effects or if [you're just gay] that part comes from you?
Also someone please introduce this dumb slut to bisexuality for the love of God.]
... But let's say you're sorta on the money. A bit. [Folding his arms in irritation] The fact the castle's to blame just means I should ignore all of this crap...
[He's much like Jae-Ha in this regard; the natural inclination is to rebel, hard. That it's not the more enticing option this time around is what's got him pissy.]
It's not about whether or not the castle made me want to give flowers of a romantic nature to my partner. If this was about the castle making me fall in love with him insincerely, I probably would've been more thoughtful and gotten him something he actually liked.
[in that 'this is what love is supposed to look like' kind of way
but instead, like he's commenting on the weather:]
I'm interested in Sousei, and my feelings aren't platonic in the slightest. I've known that for a while - this week's little charade has no effect on that.
[so he'll
let that
sink in
on what it might mean for sanji]

It's stressful because at any moment, one of us could meet our end.
You know by now that that's how I've been leaving for at least the past five years or so... and it's been my personal belief that I should make the most of the time I have until the end, so long as I don't leave anyone behind with hurt feelings.
[What an interesting way to explain the fact that Jae-ha does literally whatever he wants.]
It might make things awkward - but it might turn out a lot better than you're thinking, too.
But it is absolutely precious, so much that Sanji feels the wind ignite his his chest when he spies a lone straw hat hanging from one of the foyer banisters, just seconds away from drifting to the floor]
-- Luf...fy...
[...
Without another word, he marches up the stairs, prepared to snatch the hat away from its vantage point]
[Jae-ha takes care of Cardia first, and as promised he goes back to Sanji. He's not... looking to happy though, wonder why. It can't have anything to do with his dumbass partner! Certainly not!
